Ms Kedisaletse Mahlangu
2023 - 2024 Forest21 Advisory Board Chair
Ms Mahlangu believes that if we take care of the environment and help shape policy from the tenets of the United Nations Sustainable Goals, each continent, each country, and its citizens will contribute to the decrease of global warming and as a result thereof help save a world for the coming generations, a worthy legacy to contemplate. As collaboration is the key for any ecosystem to work. In taking the FOREST21 Board membership, Ms Mahlangu will build networks for the future. With the late Ms. Wangarĩ Muta Maathai, an iconic Kenyan social, environmental, and political activist who founded the Green Belt Movement, an environmental non-governmental organization focused on the planting of trees, environmental conservation, and women's rights as her role model, FOREST21 has a champion for its three key pillars.
